Julie has been a qualified electrician for almost 15 years in heavy industrial environments and has a keen interest is renewable energy, recycling and all things sustainable. She holds both licenses as an Electrical Fitter & Mechanical and Electrical Contractor. Julie's main goal is to help people understand what products are available that incorporate, sustainable principles and renewable energy systems and information. Julie is also studying Alternative Energy Systems, with the goal of one day installing them.
Leigh has a background in Environmental Management and a passion to improve the way in which we live. Leigh believes that by empowering people with the knowledge and the information required to make better choices on products and materials that are good for us, good for the community and good for the environment we can move toward sustainable living. Leigh also has a keen interest in green building and design and with her husband Matt is currently working with a designer to design their own eco-home in the Western Suburbs of Brisbane. Their aim is to build an affordable home without compromising on sustainability. Watch out for Leigh's eco updates. Leigh is an Environmental Management Professional who is a member of the Environment Institute of Australia and New Zealand.
